My name is John Burgess and I was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, in Montgomery County. Since the third grade, I have been involved with serving and helping others through a variety of customer service-based businesses, such as paper routes, landscaping, owning and operating a local neighborhood pub, and now as a REALTOR®.
As both an individual agent and as a Broker with over 25+ agents, I relish the opportunity to assist people with one of the most important decisions and largest transaction of their lives - the buying and selling of real estate.
My personal life has always been intertwined with sports and athletics, and I'm very interested in the physical health of myself and others. I enjoy team activities, coaching sports and most importantly, spending quality time with my family. I am involved with Children’s Hospital / Children’s Miracle Network and organize our brokerage's signature fundraising events for these charities annually. In my spare time, I like to travel and cook out on the grill.

Sandy and her family are proud natives of the D.C. Metro area and Montgomery County, Maryland. She lives with her husband, Chris, in the Olney area and loves spending time with her three lovely children. Her oldest is a graduate of Moorpark College in California, her son is a graduate of La Salle University and the youngest is a sophmore at Montgomery College in Rockville. Sandy loves sports, especially baseball and basketball. She can often be found at a family member's sporting event. Sandy loves to read, travel and ride her motorcycle.

Sarah Baker was born and raised on Boston's South Shore. She graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a B.A. in Photographic Illustration / Visual Media and minors in Business and Sociology. Before becoming a resident of Washington, D.C., Sarah lived and worked in New York City. She is active in her neighborhood, volunteering at the National Children's Medical Center and participating in athletics. Sarah loves traveling, spending time with family and friends and photojournalism.

Originally from Gambrills, Maryland, John spent several years in Germany in the early '70's. He is a graduate of Arundel High School in Anne Arundel county and a magna cum laude graduate from UMBC. His degree in business management and communications led him to a career with the Discovery Channel. John worked in their production and operations division for 16 years prior to becoming a licensed real estate agent. John enjoys spending time with family, playing and watching baseball & softball, relic hunting for Civil War artifacts and researching his family tree.

Howard was born in Reading, PA, graduated from Syracuse University, and has lived in the Washington, DC area since 1975. Howard has had a successful business career as an independent sales representative and prior to becoming a licensed real estate agent, he worked with investors on single and multi-family properties. His goal is to provide outstanding service to help his clients buy and sell their homes and investments. Howard plays golf (poorly) and has traveled extensively to Europe, Asia, the Carribbean and the US. |

In addition to working for the John Burgess Group, Cara works for Montgomery County Public Schools as an Instructional Data Analyst. Cara enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching baseball games and going to the beach.

Pamela Burgess

Pamela was raised in Rockville, Maryland, in Montgomery County. She attended Woodward High School then went on to graduate from Indiana University with a BA in Economics, with a minor in Telecommunications. Pamela is married to John and loves to spend time with him and their children. Her previous work experience has taken her through a non-profit association as editorial assistant, an ophthalmologist’s office, and eventually to the John Burgess Real Estate Group. She has been working part time with The Group for the past five years performing accounting services. The rest of Pamela’s time is devoted to raising her three children and pursuing her interests in reading, music, dancing, sports, and recreation. |
